Abstract

Within Vietnam's Mekong Delta pangasius export sector, this study investigates how Digital Logistics Capability (DLC) influences Cold-chain Logistics Performance (CLP), considering the mediating role of Cold-chain Logistics Capability (CLC) and the moderating effect of Environmental Uncertainty (EU). Guided by the Resource-Based View (RBV), Dynamic Capability Theory (DCT), and Contingency Theory, the study develops a conceptual model linking DLC, CLC, CLP, and EU. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) was employed to analyse data collected from pangasius-exporting firms. The findings indicate that DLC significantly enhances both CLC and CLP, while CLC also exerts a positive effect on CLP and partially mediates the relationship between DLC and CLP. In addition, EU amplifies the positive influence of CLC on CLP. Collectively, the findings extend the application of RBV, DCT, and Contingency Theory within the cold-chain logistics context while offering practical insights for strengthening seafood logistics performance and enhancing the competitive position of seafood exporters.
