This article investigates the influence of corporate social and environmental obligations and managerial characteristics on the performance of small and medium-sized firms (SMEs) in Vietnam. This study also analyzes the moderating effect of organizational support on the relationship between corporate social and environmental obligations and the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam. The current study employed primary data collection techniques, such as survey questionnaires and smart-PLS, to examine the relationship between the understudy components. The results demonstrated that corporate social and environmental obligations and managerial traits had a favourable and significant effect on the performance of SMEs in Vietnam. The data also revealed that organizational support moderates the relationship between corporate social and environmental responsibility and the implementation of Vietnamese SMEs. This research assists policymakers in formulating strategies to improve the performance of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) using corporate social and environmental obligations and management traits.
